Abstract

Secondary title: CONTROLLED GROUNDWATER LOWERING IN CONSTRUCTION PIT
Secondary abstract: This master thesis deals with technology of pumping ground water out of dig areas, from beginning of excavation until the end of construction. Furthermore, the focus of construction is on reliability, practicality and cost efficency. Additionally, this master thesis describes different procedures for protection of excavation sites and extraction of groundwater from dig areas. Whereas, the following example shows ground water pumping procedure of an excavation site during construction of a "Public underground garage Kapucinski square" in Varaždin. Moreover, the aim of this study is to use the analysis of ground water pumping procedure to demonstrate protection against groundwater as a reliable, practical and economical for the entire period of construction.
