Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo predstavili študentsko delo in njegove oblike. Opisali smo prednosti in slabosti študentskega dela.

Secondary title: The connection between student work and school performance
Secondary abstract: This thesis presents student work and all of its forms. We describe the advantages and disadvantages of student work. We have defined if student work influences the academic success of the student and what are the main factors. The main objective of the research was to establish the correlation between student work and school performance. In the research we found a difference between learning success among those students who work and those that do not. The parameters that were taken into consideration were grade point average, attendance at lectures and the amount of time that takes a student to study. Research shows that students who work alongside studying have higher average grades and are more present in lectures than those who do not. In average the students that work spend more hours per week studying than those students who do not work.
