Abstract

Teoretična izhodišča: Zdravstvena vzgoja bolnika s sladkorno boleznijo tipa 2 je ključnega pomena, saj je od edukacije bolnika odvisno njegovo sprejemanje bolezni, sprememba življenjskega sloga in življenja z novo boleznijo. Medicinska sestra si prizadeva, da bolnika nauči zdravega življenjskega sloga, v katero spadajo zdrava prehrana, redna telesna dejavnost, primerna osebna higiena in samokontrola sladkorne bolezni. Velik poudarek se daje tudi na podajanju informacij o sladkorni bolezni nasploh, kaj to je, kakšni so njeni zapleti, kateri vzroki privedejo do takšnega stanja in še veliko več. Namen diplomskega dela je ugotoviti s kakšnim znanjem so udeleženci prišli v Šolo za sladkorne bolnike in ali je znanje ob koncu edukacije zadovoljivo. Metodologija raziskovanja: V diplomski nalogi smo uporabili deskriptivno in kvalitativno metodo dela. Od septembra do novembra 2016 smo izvedli anonimno anketiranje, ki je zajemalo 30 udeležencev Šole za sladkorne bolnike. Anketa je vsebovala 44 vprašanj odprtega in zaprtega tipa in je bila sestavljena iz dveh delov. Prvega smo izvedli pred začetkom edukacije v Šoli za sladkorne bolnike, drugega pa ob koncu. Rezultati: Ugotovili smo, da udeleženci v Šoli za sladkorne bolnike pridobijo potrebna znanja in veščine. Zapomnili so si veliko več informacij, ki so bile pokazane praktično in povedane ustno, kot pa podane samo v obliki knjig in zloženk. Medicinska sestra je oseba, katera je največ naučila udeležence o sladkorni bolezni. Pomembno, da je program edukacije pacientov skrbno načrtovan, sistematično urejen in predstavljen pacientom na razumljiv način. Sklep: Iz leta v leto narašča število obolelih s sladkorno boleznijo tipa 2. Zato je pomembno, da se osebe, ki so bile diagnosticirane s sladkorno boleznijo, udeležijo sistematičnega učenja in pridobijo potrebna znanja. Informacija o diagnozi jih preseneti in so motivirani za sprejemanje znanja in upoštevanje nasvetov glede spremembe življenjskega sloga in sprejemanjem nadzora nad lastnim življenjem.

Secondary abstract: Teoretical points of departure: Health education of patients with diabetes type 2 is crucial, because patient's education depends on his accepting of disease, changing life style and living with new disease. Nurse aspire that she has to teach patient's health life style which including healthy food, regularly body activity, appropriate personal hygiene and self-control of diabetes. A big accent is on giving information about diabetes, what is this, what kind of complications can bring, which reasons can bring it to this condition and more. Our purpose of diploma is to find out the knowledge of patient's when they came to School for patient’s with diabetes and if the knowledge of patients is satisfactory at the end of education. Methodology of research: In diploma we used descriptive and qualitatively work method. From September to November 2016 we performed anonymous inquiry, which included 30 participants of School for patient’s with diabetes. Inquiry contained 44 open and closed type of questions and it was composed from two parts. First part was performed before education program in School for patient’s with diabetes and the second part was performed at the end of education. Results: We found out that the participants in School for patient’s with diabetes acquire the necessary knowledge and skills. They memorized more informations which were showed practically and told orally, rather than informations only through books and leaflet. Nurse is a person who learned participants the most about diabetes. It is so important that the program of patient's education is planned carefully, systematecally arranged and presented to patients in an understandable way. Conclusion: From year to year the number of patients with diabetes type 2 is rising. It is so important that the persons who have been diagnosed with diabetes are going to attend systematic learning and acquire the necessary knowledge.Information about diagnosis surprise them and they are motivated for receiving knowledge and attention to advices on lifestyle changes and taking control over their own lives.
