Abstract

Hiter razvoj gospodarstva zahteva kadre, ki so se sposobni hitro prilagajati spremembam, imajo širok spekter znanj, kompetenc in spretnosti ter znajo samostojno opravljati svoj poklic. Globalizacija in odpiranje meja med državami je vplivala tudi na trg dela in zaposlovanje. Zaradi tehnološkega razvoja, sprememb v okolju in konkurenčnosti je logistika tista dejavnost, ki zaposluje ljudi, ki so se in se bodo morali tudi v prihodnosti tem spremembam znati prilagajati. Diplomska naloga se osredotoča na kompetence in znanja delavcev v dejavnosti logistike v Sloveniji in Nemčiji. Sestavljena je iz dveh delov. V teoretičnem delu opišemo pomen in razvoj logistične dejavnosti, primerjamo izobraževalni sistem Slovenije in Nemčije, ki omogoča pridobitev znanja iz logistike, ter opredelimo pomen delodajalcev na sam razvoj kompetenc delavcev. V drugem delu predstavimo raziskavo, s katero smo preverjali, kakšne kompetence za zaposlitev pričakujejo slovenski in nemški delodajalci, postavimo raziskovalna vprašanja, predstavimo rezultate in podamo odgovore na raziskovalna vprašanja. Na koncu povzamemo naše ugotovitve, ki kažejo, da se v Nemčiji za zaposlitev v dejavnosti logistike zahteva več splošnih in posebnih kompetenc v primerjavi s Slovenijo.

Secondary title: Knowledge and competences analysis of logistics workers – the case of Slovenia and Germany
Secondary abstract: Economy's fast development demands people that are capable of fast adaptation to change, have a wide spectrum of knowledge, are competent and can do their job. Globalization and open borders between states have influenced the job market and employment in general. Technological development, climate change and competitiveness, make the field of logistics one of the activities where employees will have to follow, and adapt to changes. This diploma focuses on abilities and the knowledge of logistics workers in Slovenia and Germany. It is comprised of two parts. The first, theoretical part deals with the development and the importance of logistics. Next is a comparison between German and Slovenian educational systems that offer logistics as part of their curriculum. We will also define the role of the employer on the workers competences. The second part will present the research on the expectations of competence for German and Slovene employers. Research questions are posted and with the results we have obtained, we answer them. In the end our findings are summarized, revealing that German employers require much more general knowledge and specialist competences than Slovenian employers.
