Abstract
V magistrski nalogi smo raziskovali vpliv procesnih pogojev, kot je temperatura in podtlak, na regeneracijo zeolitnih adsorbentov. V prvem delu smo izvajali adsorpcijo hlapnih organskih topil aceton, etanol in toluen na granulirane zeolitne adsorbente ZAG 4A-KB, ZAG 13X, KÖSTROLITH 13XBF K, ZAG-MFI Silicalite in ZSM-5 Zeocat 400. Vsem aktiviranim zeolitnim vzorcem smo določali adsorpcijsko kapaciteto na osnovi statične adsorpcije.
Vse nasičene zeolitne adsorbente smo v drugem delu regenerirali pri povišani temperaturi in znižanem tlaku. Regeneracijo nasičenih vzorcev smo izvajali v vakuumskem uparjalniku pri temperaturi 180 °C in 220 °C. Desorpcijo hlapnih organskih spojin smo izvajali pri tlakih 800 mbar, 600 mbar, 400 mbar, 200 mbar in 100 mbar absolutnega tlaka. Temperatura in tlak regeneracije sta bila tekom eksperimentov konstantna. Regeneracija vzorcev v vakuumskem uparjalniku je trajala 2 uri. Po končani regeneraciji na vakuumskem uparjalniku smo preostanek adsorbiranega topila desorbirali v električni komorni peči.
Pridobljeni rezultati kažejo, da z višanjem temperature in nižanjem tlaka regeneracije povzročimo večjo desorpcijo hlapnih organskih spojin pri vseh zeolitnih adsorbentih.
Opravili smo tudi termogravimetrične analize posameznih vzorcev in ugotovili, da desorbirana količina topil ni bila za vse vzorce enaka količini adsorbiranih. Določanje vsebnosti vode s Karl Fischerjevo metodo je pokazalo, da vzorec ZAG 4A-KB iz 96 % etanola v večji meri selektivno adsorbira vodo.

In this master thesis, we investigated the influence of process conditions such as temperature and vacuum in the regeneration of zeolite adsorbents. In the first part, we carried out the adsorption of volatile organic solvents acetone, ethanol and toluene in the granulated zeolite adsorbents ZAG 4A-KB, ZAG 13X, KÖSTROLITH 13XBF K ZAG-MFI Silicalite and ZSM-5 Zeocat 400. On all activated zeolite samples were determined adsorption capacity on the basis of the static adsorption.
All saturated zeolite adsorbents were in the second part regenerated at elevated temperature and reduced pressure. The regeneration of the saturated samples was carried out in a vacuum evaporator at a temperature of 180 ° C and 220 ° C. Desorption of volatile organic compounds was carried out at pressures of 800 mbar, 600 mbar, 400 mbar, 200 mbar and 100 mbar absolute pressure. The temperature and pressure of the regeneration were during experiments constant. Regeneration of the samples in a vacuum evaporator last 2 hours. After the regeneration has been completed in the vacuum evaporator was the residue of adsorbed solvent desorbed in the electric furnace.
The results obtained show that by raising the temperature and lowering the pressure of regeneration cause significant desorption of volatile organic compounds at all zeolite adsorbent.
We also made thermogravimetric analysis of individual samples and found that the amount of desorbed solvent was not for all samples equal to the amount adsorbed. Determination of water content by Karl Fischer method showed that a sample of the ZAG 4A-KB from 96 % ethanol in greater extent selectively adsorb water. |
