Abstract

Teoretična izhodišča: Otroci se sami ne morejo zaščiti pred nasiljem, ampak je to naloga in dolžnost vseh odraslih. Ključnega pomena je, kako se družba odziva na nasilje nad otroki. Zato je treba družbo in posameznike ozaveščati, o nedopustnosti nasilja pa je nujno treba izobraževati tudi otroke. Metodologija raziskovanja: V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela smo uporabili metodo kvantitativnega raziskovanja. Raziskavo smo izvedli na III. osnovni šoli Celje. Rezultati: Z raziskavo smo ugotovili, da učenci največ informacij o nasilju nad otroki dobijo v šoli ali pri obšolskih dejavnostih. Ugotovili smo, da je nad otroki najbolj izvajano fizično in psihično nasilje odraslih oseb, najpogosteje staršev. Sklep: Življenje brez nasilja je temeljna otrokova pravica. Za dosego ničelne tolerance do nasilja nad otroki bo treba v naši družbi še veliko osveščanja o nesprejemljivosti le-tega. Tudi medicinske sestre lahko v okviru zdravstvene vzgoje prispevajo k večji ozaveščenosti na tem področju, da se tako prepreči nadaljnje povzročanje, toleriranje in upravičevanje nasilja nad otroki.

Secondary title: Some societal aspects of violence against children
Secondary abstract: Theoretical background: Children alone can not protect themselves against violence; this is a job and responsibility of adults. It is crucial how the society responds to violence against children, which is why it is necessary to raise awareness of society and individuals. About inadmissibility of violence it is necessary to educate also children. Research Methodology: In the empirical part of the thesis, we used the method of quantitative research. The study was made on III. Elementary School Celje. Results: In this study we found that students receive most information about violence against children in school or extracurricular activities. We found that physical and psychological violence against children mainly comes from adults, mostly parents. Conclusion: Life without violence is the fundamental right of the child. In order to achieve zero tolerance of violence against children in our society, we still need much more awareness about it. Nurses, in the context of health education, can raise awareness in this field and help to prevent further cause, tolerating and condoning violence against children.
