Abstract

Mlado modernistično mesto se je z naglim razvojem razvilo v gospodarsko uspešnejše mesto v Sloveniji. Izgradnjo mesta po drugi svetovni vojni jasno prikazujeta prometna shema in coning mesta. Prehiter razvoj pa se odraža v kvaliteti bivanja v visokih blokih in prenatrpanih mestnih predelih. Dobro premišljeno dopolnjevanje obstoječe mestne strukture je rešitev nadaljnjega urbanega planiranja mesta. Treba je razumeti potrebe tehnološkega razvoja, napredka in trenutne potrebe mesta, a kljub temu upoštevati kulturo in simboliko mesta ter glavno cestno mrežo z zgodovinsko osjo. Mestna občina Velenje želi razvoj mesta usmeriti v tehnološki park na območju Stare vasi, kamor smo z našim načrtom tehnološkega centra umestili novo mestno urbano formo. Velenje bo s tem pridobilo dodaten prostor načrtovane tehnološke vasi. Območje je urejeno večfunkcionalno in kljub temu da je urejeno za tehnološki park, lahko drugačen razvoj in perspektiva mesta določata različno rabo prostora. Novo jedro s svojo zgradbo uporabnikom odpira pomembne poglede na okolico in jim pomaga pri orientaciji v prostoru. Glavna os s pogledom na grad je ena izmed pomembnejših povezovalnih ulic, ki poudarja prehodnost prostora in medsebojno povezovanje robnih con. Večina okoliških predelov je omejena in ne omogoča prehoda, a v našem primeru želimo prikazati kvaliteto prehodnosti. Mešana raba nudi rabo prostora čez cel dan, prost prehod in povezovanje con pa območju dajeta dodatno kvaliteto.

Secondary abstract: A young modernistic city has rapid development and fast grown city became one of economically most prosperous city in Slovenia. Clear construction of city after World War II is shown in transport scheme and through its zoning of the city. Too quick development is reflected in the quality of life, where citizens live in high blocks in crowded urban areas. Most efficient further urban planning of the city is well-thought supplementing of existing urban structures. It is necessary for current technological development, progress and needs to be understood nowadays. Nevertheless, healthy planning progress needs to take into account the culture, symbolism of the city, the main road network and historical axis. Municipality of Velenje would like to develop center, therefore they focused plan to build technology park. They want to buy land in area of Stara vas, where we made plan for technology center placed in a new city urban form. Velenje thereby gains additional space which offers livable mixed used space quality in planned technological village. The area is regulated multi-functional. New quarter is built in a way to lead user through space and it offers important perspective opening to surrounding area. The main axis facing the castle is one of the major connecting streets. Surrounding areas are mainly limited and does not allow any transition. In our case, we want to show opposite, the quality of the passages. Mixed use provides use of space throughout all day. For additional range of quality, we established grid of free passages which is used to interconnects zones near planed area.
