Abstract

Magistrsko delo se v prvem delu osredotoča na spletno bančništvo. Splošno sprejeta definicija je, da gre pri spletnem bančništvu za obliko elektronskega bančništva, ki se v današnjem času zelo hitro razvija. V ožjem pomenu pa je definicija spletnega bančništva način poslovanja strank z banko, ki se nanaša na storitve bančništva, ki ga uporabljamo s pomočjo spletnih strani. Obstaja tudi več drugih opredelitev. Spletno bančništvo omogoča bankam hiter, pregleden, varen, uporaben, učinkovit in cenejši način poslovanja, kot pa je poslovanje pri bančnem okencu. Storitve, ki jih banke ponujajo uporabnikom prek spletnega bančništva, se med seboj ne razlikujejo prav dosti. Spletne portale bi lahko definirali kot inovativne samopostrežne tehnologije, ki ponujajo enotno točko za dostop do vseh storitev, ki vsebujejo ogromno količino različnih vsebin. Spletni portali uporabnikom nudijo prednosti in raznolikost storitev, kar posledično pozitivno vpliva na zadovoljstvo uporabnikov. Razvoj tehnologije gre v korak s tempom življenja, zato se morajo banke zavedati, da je potrebno spletnim portalom posvečati veliko pozornosti, jih nenehno prilagajati, izboljševati in ažurirati, da se bodo njihovi uporabniki vedno znova vračali na njihove spletne strani. V svetu informatike je informacija zelo pomemben vir, zato je pomembno, katere informacije in na kakšen način jih bomo v bodoče ponudili uporabnikom. Danes, ko uporabnikom običajne in preproste spletne strani ne zadoščajo več in je izgradnja spletnih portalov v polnem zagonu, je potrebno, da ponudniki zelo dobro proučijo nove in raznolike tehnologije, s katerimi bodo kasneje gradili boljši spletni portal. V drugem delu magistrskega dela pa smo raziskovali kakovost spletnih bančnih portalov, kjer smo prišli do zanimivih ugotovitev. Ugotovitve so namreč pokazale, da imajo portali bank vse značilnosti dobro zasnovanih spletnih strani. Vseeno pa v prihodnosti ne smejo pozabiti na izboljšave in na nadgradnjo svojih spletnih strani.

Secondary abstract: Master's thesis is in the first part focused on the online banking. Generally accepted definition is that in the online banking it is a form of electronic banking that grows up very rapidly nowadays. But in a narrow meaning, however, the definition of online banking is customers' way of doing business with a bank, reffering to bank services that we use with the help of websites. Of course there are also several other definitions. Online banking allows banks faster, more transparent, safer, more useful, more effective and of course cheaper way of doing business than is the business at the bank counter. Between the bank services offered to users via online banking are no big differences. Web portals could be defined as an innovative self service tehnologies that offer a single point of access to all services, which contain an enormous amount of different contents. Web portals provide users with many advantages and diversity of services, which has a positive effect on their satisfaction. At the time and pace we live in tehnology development is accelerating, so banks should be aware it is necessary to devote to online portals a lot of attention by continually adjusting, improving and updating, to make their users keep returning back to their websites. In the world of informatics information is a very important source, so it is important which informations and in what ways are we offering them to users. In today's time when to users regular and simple websites are no longer sufficient and the constraction of web portals is in a full momentum, it is necessary that providers clearly consider new and diverse tehnologies, which they will build a better web portal with. In the second part of the Master's thesis we investigated the quality of online banking portals, where we have come up with interesting conclusions. The conclusions showed us that the portals of banks have all the characteristics of well-designed websites, but they still need to pay attention to not forget for continually improving and upgrading their websites in the future.
