Abstract

Temeljni namen in cilji dela: Namen raziskovalnega magistrskega dela je ugotoviti smisel telesne dejavnosti in športa v zaporu. Osnovni cilj magistrskega dela je preučiti in prikazati teoretične podlage telesne dejavnosti in športa zapornikov v izbranih slovenskih zaporih. Pomožni cilji magistrskega dela so analizirati vpliv telesne dejavnosti in športa v zaporih, ugotoviti, kateri programi telesne dejavnosti in športa so v zaporu ponujeni, ugotoviti pomen telesne dejavnosti in športa zapornikov v slovenskih zaporih ter primerjati programe telesne dejavnosti in športa v Sloveniji s tujino.

Secondary title: PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND SPORT OF PRISONERS
Secondary abstract: The fundamental purpose and objectives of the work: The purpose of the research thesis is to determine the meaning of sport and physical activity in prison. The basic aim of the thesis is to study and demonstrate the theoretical basis of physical activity and sport prisoners in selected Slovenian prisons. Ancillary objectives of the thesis is to analyze the impact of physical activity and sport in prisons, to determine which programs of physical activity and sport are present in prison, noted the importance of physical activity and sport prisoners in Slovenian prisons and compare Slovenian programs of physical activity and sport with foreign programs. Method: 76 randomly chosen prisoners in the 4 randomly chosen Slovenian prisons, which based on a half-closed type questionnaire identified physical activity and health at the time of imprisonment. The main conclusions: Of all respondents prison Dob has the worst results, although they have good sports equipment and surfaces. Prisoners are not physically active and feeling ill from depression with insomnia. Of all respondents prison Ljubljana has the best results, because they are more physically active and do not have mental health problems. Prison Celje has poor results, which are the result of poor sports equipment and surfaces. Prison Celje has young offenders, which have poor conditions for sport. Prison Ig has good results, which are the result of the survey in the open department of the prison Ig. Prisoners have many walking trails and more freedom. The average of all surveyed prisoners is below the average for the general population of Slovenia regarding the frequency of physical activity of different intensity. Even in comparison with foreign study Slovenian prisoners are less physically active.
