Abstract

Razdeljeni so bili v dve, številčno enaki, skupini.

Secondary title: The importance of coordination for children motor efficiency
Secondary abstract: The thesis presents the importance of coordination for children’s motor efficiency. I wanted to determine whether systematic upgrading of coordination affects child's motor development. Taking in account also external factor - the environment. Parents were asked about the physical activity of their children in home environment. The study involved 40 children, 20 of these carried out physical activity twice a week, which was weekly increased with systematic upgrading of coordination. For children’s evaluation I used Test MOT 4-6, which consists of 18 tasks evaluated by a three degree scale (0, 1 or 2 points), where the sum of the results represents the motor efficiency of each child. The survey was carried out from November to April 2016 The obtained data was statistically analysed with the statistical package SPSS – 16.0 Windows (Statistical Package for Social Sciences inc. Chicago IL), where descriptives, Pearson correlation (analysis of the correlation between two variables) and the t-test were used for numerical variables. Statistical significance was assessed using 5% confidence intervals (giving a p-value of 0, 05). The results of the survey indicate that despite additional physical activity to enhance coordination there were no significant deviations from the control group in the advancement of physical performance.
