Abstract
Glasbena terapija je disciplina, ki glasbo uporablja z namenom. Glasba se uporablja kot terapevtsko sredstvo za izboljšanje kakovosti življenja pri vseh starostnih skupinah in nudi edinstven proces kot alternativno obliko neverbalne komunikacije z glasbenim medijem, hkrati pa daje možnost verbalne in neverbalne komunikacije. V magistrski nalogi je predstavljena glasbena terapija otrok s posebnimi potrebami, ki jo izvajajo glasbeni terapevti v Sloveniji in na Novi Zelandiji. Med državama je opravljena primerjalna analiza dela in prakse glasbene terapije otrok s posebnimi potrebami. Predstavljen je pojem glasbene terapije v svojih temeljnih izhodiščih, kar vključuje tudi razvoj glasbene terapije, cilje in metode dela, modele glasbene terapije, sam glasbeno terapevtski proces in okolje, kjer se le-ta izvaja, ter pomembno področje supervizije v glasbeni terapiji. Zajeta je tudi glasbena terapija otrok s posebnimi potrebami, ki je opredeljena glede na motnje in primanjkljaje otrok s posebnimi potrebami skozi devet kategorij skupin otrok s posebnimi potrebami. Predstavljena je še sistemska umestitev glasbene terapije v Sloveniji in na Novi Zelandiji skozi področja razvoja, študija, zaposlitve in praktičnih primerov izvajanja glasbene terapije z določeno skupino otrok s posebnimi potrebami. V empiričnem delu naloge so predstavljeni vidiki dela glasbenih terapevtov in opravljene analize vezane na področje izobraževanja in zaposlitve glasbenih terapevtov, na področje klientov glasbene terapije, izvajanja le-te in na področje položaja glasbenih terapevtov. Navedeno je opravljeno v primerjalni analizi preko raziskovalnih vprašanj in postavljenih kategorij, ki so vezana na prakso in delo glasbene terapije otrok s posebnimi potrebami v Sloveniji in na Novi Zelandiji.

Music therapy is a discipline that purposely uses music as a therapeutic means to improve the quality of life in all age groups and offers a unique process as an alternative form of non-verbal communication with a musical medium and at the same time gives an opportunity for verbal and non-verbal communication. The master thesis presents music therapy for children with special needs, which is implemented by music therapists in Slovenia and New Zealand. A comparative analysis of music therapy for children with special needs has been carried out between the two countries. The concept of music therapy is presented in its fundamental basis, which also involves the development of music therapy, aims and work methods, music therapy models, the music therapy process itself and the environment in which it is carried out, as well as the important aspect of supervision in music therapy. Music therapy for children with special needs is also included and detailed in nine categories of children with special needs based on their disabilities and disorders. The master thesis also presents the system placement of music therapy in Slovenia and New Zealand through development, studies, employment and practical examples of music therapy implementation for certain groups of children with special needs. The empirical part of the master thesis presents the aspects of music therapist's work and performed analyses regarding education and employment of music therapists, music therapy clients, implementation of music therapy and position of music therapists. The mentioned is carried out in comparative analysis through research questions and set categories related to music therapy for children with special needs in Slovenia and New Zealand. |
