Park&Ride sistemi in študija primerov v okviru Evrope

Abstract

Diplomsko delo se posveca opisu sheme Park&Ride, ki je oblika vecslojnega nacrtovanja javnega potniškega transporta ter parkiranja v mestu. Gre za sistem, kjer se uporabnik do obrobja mesta pripelje z lastnim osebnim avtomobilom, nato pa zamenja modaliteto ter pot do centra mesta nadaljuje z javnim potniškim prevozom. Za implementacijo tega sistema je potrebno skrbno nacrtovanje vseh vidikov sheme, od cene parkiranja na parkirišcih, ugodnosti javnega potniškega prevoza, pa vse do omejevanja prometa in parkiranja v centru mesta. Ta shema je v Evropi precej razvita, najdemo jo skoraj v vseh vecjih mestih. V nekaterih je razvita do te mere, da je njena uporaba zelo smiselna in razširjena, ponekod pa uporabo sheme Park&Ride ne spodbujajo z dodatnimi iniciativami, je predraga in podobno, zato shema uporabnikom ni privlacna in ni zaživela.

Secondary abstract:	This diploma thesis is written to describe the Park&Ride scheme, which is a multilayered form of planning in cities, incorporating parking and public passenger transport. When using Park&Ride, the user drives to the outskirts of a city using his own car, then changes form of transport and continues his journey to the centre of the city using a form of public passenger transport. Special care has to be taken when implementing this system, not only to pricing of parking lots and providing benefits for using public passenger transport, but also to incentives like limiting access of cars to the city centre or minimising parking spaces there. In Europe, this scheme is well developed and can be found in nearly all the major cities. In some, the scheme is widely used, and in others it is too expensive, not encouraged and alike, and so the use of Park&Ride is not as widely used as it could be.
