Abstract

Od dela managerjev je odvisna uspešnost poslovnih združb v vse bolj zahtevnem in spreminjajočem se okolju delovanja. Managerji dosegajo organizacijske cilje s pomočjo ljudi, sodelavcev, ki imajo različne sposobnosti, znanja in izkušnje, zato morajo biti managerji sposobni oceniti te zmožnosti in jih uskladiti. Vodenje je treba prilagoditi značilnostim konkretne organizacije. Vodilni se morajo soočiti z različnimi skupinami, posamezniki, nalogami, cilji. Temu morajo prilagoditi svoje vedenje. Vodenje je danes daleč najpomembnejši dejavnik uspeha ali neuspeha poslovne združbe. Obstajajo različni načini vodenja. Ni nujno, da posameznik vedno uporablja le en način vodenja. Prav je, če ga glede na spremenjeno situacijo spreminja. Vodja mora izbrati tak način vodenja, ki bo v dani situaciji najučinkovitejši. Tako bodo doseženi cilji organizacije na eni ter pričakovanja in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih na drugi strani. Če povzamem, potrebuje manager za uspešno vodenje sposobnosti vodenja, znanja, motivacijo, delegiranje ter moč in vpliv. Dejstvo je, da ni načina vodenja, ki bi bil najboljši ali najučinkovitejši v vsakem času, situaciji, kulturi.

Secondary abstract: The success of business companies depends on the manager`s job in a demanding and changeable working environment. Under the manager`s leadership the employees with different abilities, knowledge and experience achieve the aims of the organisation. Therefore the managers have to be capable of assessing the workers` abilities and bringing them into line. The management of the company needs to be adjusted to its characteristics. The leaders must be confronted with various groups, individuals, tasks and aims. Their behaviour needs to be adjusted accordingly. The management nowadays presents the most important factor of the company`s success. There are various ways of management. It is not necessary for the individual to use one way only. The ways of management should change according to the situation. It is the manager`s job to choose the way, which is the most effective in a certain situation. Thus, on one hand all the aims of the company will be achieved, on the other the expectations and satisfaction of the employees will be fulfilled. Tu sum up, for a successful management the leader needs leading capacities, knowledge, motivation, power and influence. The fact is that there are no ways of management which would be the best or the most effective in any time, situation or culture.
