Abstract

V diplomski nalogi so opisani načini okrevanja po katastrofi, zaščite računalniške infrastrukture in podatkov ter lastnosti sodobnih podatkovnih centrov. Opisani so sodobni pristopi k tem problemom, izvedeni s pomočjo tehnologij spletnih storitev in izvajanja v oblaku. Predstavljeni so trije ponudniki na tem področju, ki nudijo najem strojne opreme za izvajanje in razvoj aplikacij, ki jo prilagodimo svojim potrebam ter tako izkoristimo visoko odzivnost in zmogljivost. Naštete so tako prednosti, kakor tudi slabosti teh tehnologij in s primerom prikazano delovanje aplikacije na Google App Engine infrastrukturi.

Secondary title: Disaster recovery systems using server clouds
Secondary abstract: In diplome work we described methods of disaster recovery, protection of computer infrastructure, information and features of modern data centers. We also described modern approaches to this problem, carried out with the help of web services technologies and implementation of cloud computing. Know providers who offer rental of infrastructure for developement and implementation of applications, which are tailored to their needs and thus take advantage of high performance and responsiveness. We also listed advantages and disadvantages of those technologies. In the end we have shown an example of application implemented on Google App Engine infrastructure.
