Abstract

V predloženi doktorski disertaciji je predstavljeno področje utrujanja strojnih delov in konstrukcij. Raziskovalno delo je osredotočeno na področje malo-cikličnega utrujanja, kjer je vpeljana nova metoda za določevanja materialnih parametrov. Slednji so osnova za varno dimenzioniranje strojnih delov in konstrukcij na življenjsko dobo. Določevanje materialnih parametrov zuporabo nove metode temelji na uporabi cilindričnih preizkušancev, ki jih obremenimo s čistim upogibnim momentom in izpostavimo rotaciji. Preizkusi so izvedeni na posebej razviti in izdelani preizkuševalni napravi. Na osnovi izmerjenih vrednosti momentov, zasukov in sil, ki se med preizkušanjem pojavijo na preizkušancu, določimo parametre malo-cikličnega utrujanjaz uporabo razvitega matematičnega modela.

Secondary title: Determination of low-cycle fatigue parameters with rotating bending test
Secondary abstract: In the presented work the material fatigue of machine parts and structures is presented. The research work is focused on the field of low-cycle fatigue, where a new method for determination of low-cycle fatigue parameters has been developed. Determined fatigue parameters are the basic for safe and reliable constructing and design of machine parts and structures. The new method is based on cylindrical specimens loaded with pure bending moment and exposed to the rotation. Experiments are performed ona specially designed testing machine, which has been developed for this purpose. According to the measured values of moments, distortions and forces, which are induced on the specimen during the test low-cycle fatigue, parameters can be determined using the developed mathematical model.
