Abstract

Including the company in the electronic payments, the case of MTB d.o.o. |
Secondary abstract: |
Electronic money has no physical form but exists in the form of electronic records. These are electronically conducted transactions.
The beginnings of electronic commerce go back to the 1970s. Initially, these computer networks were intended only for professionals and scientists. Today, they are indispensable also for the layman and we cannot imagine commerce without it.
Today, goods and services can be paid for in the conventional manner (e.g. with cash) or in the electronic form. The main difference between the two types is that the electronic form is digital, with no physical contact between the payer and the recipient.
For the payment system to be as efficient as possible, it needs to provide security, reliability, anonymity, transitivity, acceptability, substantial customer support, adaptability, convertibility, efficiency and ease of use.
The company MTB operates in the construction industry and employs about 180 people. Like numerous other companies, MTB conducts the major part of its business in electronic manner. This especially relates to payments, where the majority of payments are conducted electronically. The major part of banking services are conducted through the NKBM bank and the same applies to the majority of payments.
