Secondary title: | Development and manufacturing of prototype and small series run injection moulding tools |
Secondary abstract: | The diploma work describes development of new product and technology for manufacturing this product using the 'Reverse engineering' approach. Method for manufacturing the product in small series has been chosen on the basis of comparising rapid manufaturing methods and classical tooling procedures. On the basis of the analysis, manufacturing aluminium tool with CNC milling has been chosen. The diploma work contains short description of technologies for rapid tooling and arguments for the final decision on choosing the manufacturing procedure for actual tool. The central part the diploma work describes tools for injection moulding of plastic and development and manufacturing of the tool for injection moulding of plastic taps. |
