Prenova komunikacijskega omrežja

Abstract

Za zdravstveno ustanovo, smo pripravili predlog prenove komunikacijskega omrežja, jim ga predstavili in realizirali. V diplomski nalogi so na kratko opisane osnove komunikacijskih omrežij, opisano je stanje njihovega komunikacijskega omrežja pred prenovo,ter realizacija izbranega predloga. Komunikacijsko omrežje smo realizirali z mrežno opremo proizvajalca Cisco. V prenovi smo na glavni lokaciji uporabili robni usmerjevalnik, ki hkrati služi tudi kot požarna pregrada, centralno stikalo in dostopovna stikla. Oddaljene lokacije smo z glavno lokacijo povezali preko Telekomovega MPLS VPN omrežja. Tako smo na vsaki oddaljeni lokaciji uporabili usmerjevalnik in stikalo. Rezultat prenove je zanesljivo, varno in obvladljivo komunikacijsko omrežje, ki je nujno potrebno za zagotavljanje vseh medicinskih procesov.

Secondary abstract:	We prepared, presented and carried out a proposal for renovation of communication network for a health institution. In my undergraduate thesis the basis of communication networks, the condition of the communication network before the renovation and the carrying out of the chosen proposal are described. We carried out the project with Cisco network equipment. On the central location of the institution, we used edge router that simultaneously serves as a firewall, network switch and access switch. We connected remote locations with the central one by using the Telekom MPLS VPN network. In this way we applied a router and a switch to every remote location. The result of the renovation is a reliable, safe and controllable communication network that is necessary for the assurance of all medical processes.
