Abstract

Dovoljeno vsebnost emisijskega formaldehida določajo emisijski razredi. Trenutno sta v veljavi emisijski razred E—1 in ½ E—1.

Secondary title: Synthesis of urea formaldehyde resin - determination of process parameters influence on product quality
Secondary abstract: Manufacturers of particleboards are confronting with new challenges. The quality of products must be improved. The allowed content of emission formaldehyde in resins is decreasing, since it is unwholesome. The development of resins goes in this direction. The allowed content of formaldehyde in resins are determined with emission class. Momentarily E–1 and ½ E–1 are current. E–1 allows maximum 8 mg of free formaldehyde per 100 g of particleboard and on average 6,5 mg half-yearly. ½ E–1 allows 4 mg of formaldehyde per 100 g of particleboard. In the diploma work we have estimated the most important parameters which have an influence on resin quality and their values. We followed its existency and reactiveness and we also established appropriate holding time. We have examined the influence of raw materials ageing on the gelation time and ureaformaldehyde content. We have also examined the influence of resin ageing. For this reason we have condensed resin at two different holding times, 55 and 45 minutes, respectively.
