Secondary title: | Development of navigation system prototype for physically disabled persons |
Secondary abstract: | In this thesis we want to show prototype of navigation system for disabled people. This type of navigation system allows us to insert obstacles and then avoid them. Users can insert obstacles and choose how hard is to pass an obstacle for certain type of disability. We made web application based on Leaflet plugin that allows us to show maps on a web page and navigate us through urban environment. We developed user interface that allows us to insert different types of obstacles. Besides that we can determine if crossing an obstacle is possible for certain type of disability. Navigation from point A to point B is based on disability type. Location is GPS obtained and shown on a map. User can search goal destination throughout text field and choose the right one. Navigation is done graphically. Route is shown on the map with basic instructions. At the end we provided guidelines for further software development. |
