Abstract

Računovodski informacijski sistem je v današnjem času zelo pomemben člen vsakega podjetja, saj nudi vse potrebne informacije, ki jih podjetje potrebuje za vodenje. Zagotavlja uspešno kontrolo poslovodstvu ter premoženjsko zavarovanje pred nepooblaščenim uporabljanjem ali razpolaganjem. Zagotavlja tudi, da so računovodske evidence zanesljive in pripravljene za pripravo računovodskih informacij. V diplomskem delu smo proučili značilnosti računovodskih informacijskih sistemov ter razlike med namiznimi in spletnimi sistemi. Kot primer spletnega sistema smo izbrali Minimax ter namizni računovodski program Icenter. Podrobneje smo proučili funkcionalnosti in delovanje programa, ter ugotovili njune prednosti in slabosti. Primerjali smo programa po dostopnosti, vzdrževanju, funkcijah ter samem delovanju. Ugotovili smo, da je program Minimax boljši od programa Icenter, saj je dostopnejši, preglednejši in enostavnejši.

Secondary title: Adequacy judgment of web based and desktop computer programme for accounting
Secondary abstract: Accounting information system is nowadays an important part of every company as it offers all necessary information a company needs for its management. It assures a successful control of management and a means insurance against unauthorized usage or disposal. It also assures accounting records are reliable and ready for preparing accounting information. In the thesis we researched characteristics of accounting systems and differences between desktop and web systems. We used Minimax as an example of a web system and a desktop accounting programme Icenter. In detail there were studied functionalism and programme function and found advantages and disadvantages. Programmes were compared by functionalism, maintenance, functions and operation. We discovered Minimax programme is better than Icenter, because it is more accessible, clear and easier.
