Abstract

V pričujoči diplomski nalogi se ukvarjamo s svetovno gospodarsko krizo in njenimi posledicami; pozornost namenjamo predvsem področju zaposlovanja. Neizbežna posledica vsake gospodarske krize, ki se ljudi najbolj dotakne, je prav brezposelnost. Gre za izredno občutljivo ekonomsko in socialno kategorijo; ob tem da zmanjšuje potencialno možni bruto domači proizvod, slabo vpliva na psihofizično počutje brezposelnih oseb. Zanima nas, kako se je spreminjala brezposelnost v Sloveniji od njene samostojnosti do danes, ko je zaradi recesije le-ta znova v središču pozornosti. Preučujemo nastanek gospodarske krize, njen potek, vzroke zanjo in posledice. V sklepnem delu raziščemo protirecesijske ukrepe zoper brezposelnost v naši državi ter soočimo različna mnenja.

Secondary abstract:	This thesis discusses the world economic crisis and its consequences, with emphasis on the field of employment. The inevitable consequence of every economic crisis with the biggest effect on people is unemployment. This is a very sensitive economic and social category; it not only decreases the potential gross domestic product, but also presents a poor influence on the psychophysical state of unemployed persons. We wanted to analyse the changes in unemployment rate in Slovenia from its independence until today, when it again became the centre of attention. We studied the origin of the economic crisis, its course, causes and consequences. In the final part of this thesis we concentrated on the counter-recession measures for treating unemployment in our country and confronted different views on the matter.
