Abstract

Diplomsko delo Oblikovanje kolekcij svetil temelji na oblikovanju treh kolekcij svetil s poudarkom na inspiraciji in ustvarjanju treh konceptov, ki se povezujejo v enega. Prva kolekcija, imenovana Volna, je v napravljena iz surove volne , obdelane s tehniko polstenja, njen navdih je oblikovanje neobdelanih naravnih materialov. Led je naslov druge kolekcije, katere inspiracija je posnemanje narave z uporabo modernih materialov. V tej kolekciji uporabljen material akrilat posnema led. Tretja kolekcija z imenom Plastika predstavlja rešitev uporabe predmetov iz nerecikljivih materialov, ki jih prehitro zavržemo. Svetila tretje kolekcije so tako oblikovana iz plastičnih vilic, plastičnih slamic in žogic za namizni tenis, ki vsebujejo polistiren, ki ga ne recikliramo.

Secondary abstract:	The thesis 'Designing lighting collections' is based on designing three lighting collections with three concepts linking into one. The first collection, named Wool, is made entirely of felted raw wool, and is inspired by nature and its raw materials. The second collection, Ice, is inspired by imitating natural phenomena [, particularly ice,] with modern materials. The material imitating ice is colourless acrylate. The last collection, Plastic, represents a solution for non-recyclable materials, such as polystyrene which is commonly used for everyday single-use products. Lights in this collection are made of plastic forks, drinking straws, and table tennis balls.
