Abstract

Šole in druge organizacije ponujajo čedalje več raznovrstnih interesnih dejavnosti, starši in otroci pa se morajo odločiti in izbranim dejavnostim nameniti svojo energijo, čas in denar. Odločitev o izbiri interesne dejavnosti ni enostavna, saj temelji na presoji številnih kriterijev. Poleg tega je odločevalcev več, in ti imajo lahko povsem diametralne interese. Pri tako kompleksnih odločitvah nam lahko pomaga izgrajeni večparametrski odločitveni model za izbiro šolskih in obšolskih dejavnosti. Ta omogoča kvalitetnejše svetovanje otrokom in staršem pri izbiri najprimernejših interesnih področij za otroka v okviru šolskih in obšolskih dejavnosti ter posledično kvalitetno izbiro konkretne dejavnosti, ki se je bo otrok rad udeleževal, ki bo vsaj delno v interesu staršev in v okviru njihovih finančnih in časovnih zmožnosti. Kriteriji za oblikovanje odločitvenega modela so bili osnovani na podlagi izkušenj izvajalcev interesnih dejavnosti ter uporabnikov storitev. Odločitveni model je bil preverjen na vzorcu 26 učencev, starih od 9 do 11 let. Na podlagi analize rezultatov modela je bilo opravljeno svetovanje, v nadaljnjih šolskih letih pa tudi spremljava izbire interesnih dejavnosti. V magistrski nalogi so podane tudi smernice za uporabo odločitvenega modela, hkrati pa so nakazane možne smeri njegovega nadaljnjega razvoja.

Secondary title: Decision model for selecting children's curicurral and extracuricurral activities
Secondary abstract: Schools and external youth organizations offer increasing number of extracurricular activities. It is up to parents and their children to decide in which activity or activities they will invest their energy, time and money. This decision may not be easy as it is based on simultaneous judgment based on multiple criteria. Besides, there may be multiple parties of interest involved and their desires may be diametrically different. Competent multiple attribute decision making model may help with complex decisions like that, thus helping parents and their children to recognize suitable area of interest and based on this, select the right activity. The one that will be in line with child's real interests and will also be (at least partially) in accordance with parent’s goals and their financial and time constrains. Criteria that form the decision making model were established based on experience and active cooperation of implementers and consumers of extracurricular and optional curricular activities. The decision making model was verified on the sample of 26 pupils aged from 9 to 11. Consulting was done on the basis of resultant analysis. The results were followed through a couple of following years. Conclusion lists the guidelines for using the decision making model and indicates the possible directions of future development.
