Abstract

Pornografija se je pojavila zelo zgodaj v preteklosti, že prve jamske slike so poleg tradicionalnih motivov lova pogosto prikazovale seksualne prizore. Skozi zgodovino se je pojavna oblika pornografije spreminjala, prav tako pa se je spreminjal odnos družbe do nje. S tako imenovano seksualno revolucijo je prišlo do ekspanzije pornografije. Pornografija se je začela pojavljati v vseh medijih, veliko se je govorilo o njej, družba je zahtevala stališče. Še danes je tako, a enotnega stališča ni. Nasprotniki pornografije so prepričani, da pornografija škoduje, v njej vidijo ponižanje in dehumanizacijo žensk. Zagovorniki pornografije pa v njej ne vidijo nič škodljivega, sklicujejo se na pravico do izražanja. V diplomskem delu bom skušala obrazložiti temeljne pojme pornografije, prikazati njen razvoj skozi zgodovino in predstaviti najpomembnejše argumente za in proti. Diplomska naloga se nanaša na običajne in legalne oblike pornografije, torej izključuje otroško pornografijo in druge skrajne oblike, razen, kadar je drugače navedeno.

Secondary abstract:	Pornography appeared in the early history as already cave paintings depicted not only traditional hunting scenes but also sexual scenes. The scenes of pornography changed throughout the history as well as the society’s relation towards pornography. With the sexual revolution it came to an expansion of pornography. Pornography appeared in the media, people talked about it a lot, and the society demanded a standpoint. The situation nowadays is still the same but there is no uniform standpoint. On the one hand the opponents of pornography are of the strong opinion that pornography is harmful, that it humiliates and dehumanises women. The defenders of pornography on the other hand think that pornography is by no means harmful and refer to the freedom of expression. In my diploma thesis I will try to explain the main concepts of pornography, show its developments through history and illustrate the most important arguments for and against pornography. This thesis refers to usual and legal forms of pornography this means it excludes child pornography and other extreme forms of pornography if not noted otherwise.
