Računalništvo v Oblaku in virtualizacija

Abstract

Priča smo največji revoluciji na področju informacijske tehnologije (IT) po pojavitvi Interneta, to je model računalništva v Oblaku. Napovedi IT sektorja za leto 2010 ga umeščajo v vodilno strateško tehnološko področje. V nalogi smo raziskali pojem, o kakšnem modelu je govora in odgovorili na vprašanji zakaj govorimo o revoluciji in zakaj se je pojavila sedaj ter z opredelitvijo pojma virtualizacija določili vlogo virtualizacijskih tehnologij v modelu računalništva v Oblaku. Posebno pozornost smo posvetili produktu Microsoft Azure, ki je bil izdan z oznako "platforma za računalništvo v Oblaku" in ga raziskali na praktičnih primerih.

Secondary abstract:	We are witnessing the greatest revolution in the field of information technology (IT) after appearing of Internet. It is called Cloud Computing Model. Announcements of the IT sector for the following year 2010 place it into the leading strategic and technological field. In this diploma paper we have researched the term itself, found out which model we were talking about and answered the questions why we talk about the revolution and why it has appeared right now. By defining the term virtualization we have also defined the role of virtualization technology in the Cloud Computing Model. Special attention was dedicated to the product of Microsoft Azure, which has been brought out with the mark "Cloud Computing Platform" and researched on practical cases.
