Secondary abstract: | A damaged gear pair can be investigated by using differential experimental methods; results can lead to a collection of rules for fault identification. A mechanical gear pair replacement model makes it possible to research dynamic responses of involute gear pair under selected conditions and in relation to a selected gear fault. Models for gear pair description and precise treatment for mass rotating model are included, taking friction as well as tribology and gear principles into consideration. The dynamics of gear pair mass rotating models, Hertzian contact, tribology of Hertzian contact and calculating algorithms by Mathematica are taken into consideration and dealt with great detail. |
