Abstract

V svojem diplomskem seminarju z naslovom: Družbena odgovornost podjetij, sem podrobneje predstavila koncept družbene odgovornosti. V začetku dela sem poskušala razložiti pojem družbene odgovornosti, njen razvoj skozi zgodovino ter vlogo za podjetja, ki jo uporabljajo. V nadaljevanju sem družbeno odgovornost podjetij razčlenila na notranjo in zunanjo dimenzijo, ter jih podrobneje predstavila. Nato sem predstavila kodekse ravnanja ter standarde, ki jih uporabljamo za presojo družbene odgovornosti. V zadnjem delu sem se osredotočila na družbeno odgovornost v Evropi, kot v Sloveniji. V okvirju družbene odgovornosti v Sloveniji sem predstavila slovenski Inštitut za razvoj družbene odgovornosti, slovensko nagrado za družbeno odgovornost- Horus, ter družbeno odgovornost prikazala na primeru slovenskih podjetij Lotrič laboratorij za meroslovje d.o.o., Mariborski vodovod d.d. ter BTC d.d. Ta podjetja sem izbrala, ker so dobitniki slovenske nagrade Horus leta 2011 in so dober primer prakse družbene odgovornosti. Skozi celoten diplomski seminar sem skušala predstaviti kako pomembno je uvajati koncept družbene odgovornosti v podjetje.

Secondary abstract:	In my diploma paper with the title Corporate social responsibility I focused on the concept of social responsibility itself. In the beginning, I tried to explain the concept of social responsibility in its development throughout the history. I also explained the role that it carries for the companies that implement it. Furthermore, I divided the corporate social responsibility into internal and external dimension and explained both. Later on, I introduced codes of practice and standards that we use for assessment of corporate social responsibility. In the last part I focused on social responsability in Europe as well as in Slovenia. As an example of corporate social responsibility in Slovenia I took Inštitut za razvoj družbene odgovornosti (Institute for development of social responsibility) that got Slovenian award for social responsibility - Horus. As an example of corporate social responsibility I chose Lotrič laboratorij za meroslovje d.o.o., Mariborski vodovod d.d. and BTC d.d. All of the companies I chose based on the fact that they all received the Slovenian award Horus for year 2011, so they all represent good practices of social responsibility. Throughout this diploma paper I have tried to present how important it is to introduce the concept of social responsibility in business.
