Abstract

Sevnica je bila z rastjo industrije deležna največjega razvoja po 2. svetovni vojni. V zadnjih desetih letih pa je doživela nekaj večjih posegov v okolje in njeno celostno podobo. Največji vpliv na spremembe je imela izgradnja verige hidroelektrarn na spodnji Savi. Izgradnja nasipov potrebnih za dvig vodostaja reke je nekoliko spremenila namensko rabo bližnjih površin oziroma jih je naredila nefunkcionalne. Najbolj so bile prizadete zelene površine. Diplomsko delo preučuje možnosti ureditve površin, ki so že prej bile namenjene zelenim površina ter površin, ki nudijo potencial za izvedbo kakovostnih zelenih površin in umestitve le teh v smiselno celoto.

Secondary title: Green space design in the town of Sevnica
Secondary abstract: The town of Sevnica has after World War II with growth of industry received larger development. In last ten years Sevnica has seen some major interventions in the environment and its overall image. The greatest impact on the changes hasbeen done with construction of hydropower plants on lower reaches of Sava. Construction of embankments needed to raise the water level of the river has slightly changed land use and areas located nearby. Green areas have been affected the most.In the diploma work I have been focused in arranging areas that has already been designed as green areas; areas which offers potential to create quality green spaces and placement of these in meaningful whole.
