Abstract

Diplomsko delo zajema teoretični in empirični del. In namen moje raziskave je ugotoviti predvsem to, v kolikšni meri in kako dobro so učitelji seznanjeni s socialnimi igrami, kako koristne se jim zdijo, v kolikšni meri jih uporabljajo, in v kolikšni meri jim s temi igrami uspe doseči želeno. Dobro so seznanjeni s socialnimi igrami, in s pomočjo njih jim v določeni meri uspe doseči zastavljene cilje.

Secondary title: TEACHERS' VIEWS ON SOCIAL GAMES
Secondary abstract: In the general school system concept a child's personal development is mostly neglected. One way to develop this sphere is using social games. Nowadays psychologists, teachers, parents, advisors, kindergarten teachers and others deal with the child's positive self-image a lot. They tend to create good interpersonal relations with children as well as to improve communication between children, help with establishing human connections, give them a feeling of being safe and so on. All these can be carried out with the intentional use of social games, which, I suppose, is what teachers do. It is true that the game itself has an exceptional meaning in the child's development and it beneficial when raising the child, when an adolescent is growing up and so on. It is becoming more and more important at home, in school and in other places. The game is a part of the child's daily life, so teachers should use those methods where the game is included. It is very useful at the child's upbringing. The degree paper includes a theoretical and an empirical part. The purpose of my research was to find out mainly how much and how well the teachers are familiar with the games, how useful they think they are, how much they use them and if teachers' purpose to use the games has been reached. I used a questionnaire, distributed it to the schools in Maribor and Ptuj and gave it to the teachers teaching in the first and up to the fifth class. My conclusion is that teachers find social games useful and they use them very often. They are familiar with those games and the teachers mainly achieve their goals.
