Abstract
Stres je pojav s katerim se srečujemo na vsakem koraku in mu ne moremo ubežati. Avtorji navajajo številne definicije, pa vendar če posplošimo, lahko stres opredelimo kot pojav, ki nastane kot posledica naših prilagajanj okolju. Stres ima pozitivno in negativno plat. Pod stresom smo bolj delovni in ustvarjalni, na drugi strani pa pomeni nekaj negativnega, nas ogroža in je pogost povzročitelj številnih obolenj.
Izvori stresa so različni. S stresom se srečujemo v delovnem okolju in izven njega. Velikokrat se stres pojavi kot posledica preobremenjenosti, težkih življenjskih dogodkov, naporov vsakdanjega življenja itd. Posledice stresa se kažejo na vedenjski, psihični in fizični ravni.
Posameznik se lahko nauči uspešno spopadati s stresom s pomočjo različnih metod. Podjetja z različnimi strategijami nadzorujejo in odpravljajo stres. Svojim zaposlenim lahko pomagajo tudi z izobraževanji, s pomočjo katerih se zaposleni naučijo obvladovati stres.
Stres vpliva na delovno storilnost zaposlenih in povzroča izgorevanje na delovnem mestu. Stroški stresa se pojavljajo na individualni ravni, na ravni podjetja in državni ravni.
V diplomskem seminarju smo preučevali prisotnost stresa v podjetju Venge d.o.o. Ugotovili smo, da delovno okolje v podjetju ni pretirano stresno. Pokazal se je problem v komunikaciji, pomanjkanju timskega dela, pomanjkanju vključevanja zaposlenih v sooblikovanje pomembnih odločitev in potez podjetja. Na podlagi ugotovitev smo podali predloge za izboljšanje trenutnega stanja.

Stress is a phenomenon that we encounter at every step, and we can't escape it. Authors state a number of definitions, but more general, stress can be defined as a phenomenon that occurs as a result of our adjustments on the environment. Stress has a positive and a negative side. While being under stress, we are more creative and hard working, on the other hand, stress implies something negative, that threatens us and is a common cause of many diseases.
Sources of stress are different. We face stress at our work environment and beyond. Stress often occurs as a result of congestion, tough life events, efforts of everyday life, etc. The consequences of stress are able to be seen on the behavioral, psychological and physical levels.
One can learn to successfully cope with stress through a variety of methods. Companies use different strategies to control and eliminate stress. They can help its employees with educations, through witch, employees learn how to handle with stress.
Stress affects the work performance of employees and causes burnouts at the workplace. Costs of stress are occurring at individual level, at the enterprise level and national level.
In the graduate seminar, we studied the presence of stress in the company Venge d.o.o.. We found out, that the work environment is not excessively stressful. Problems in communication, lack of teamwork, lack of involvement of employees in the co-creation of important decisions and moves of business were shown. Based on the findings, we made suggestions for improvement of the current state. |
