Prometna varnost pešcev na območju občine Maribor

Abstract

Pešci v cestnem prometu spadajo med najbolj ogrožene prometne udeležence, zato so tudi pogosto udeleženi v prometnih nesrečah. Glede na to, da se ljudje vedno bolj zavedamo, kako pomembno je skrbeti za svoje zdravje in da lahko določene relacije prehodimo peš ter posledično naredimo nekaj dobrega za naravo, menimo, da bo vedno več pešcev udeleženih v cestnem prometu. Zato se je potrebno zavedati problematike prometnih nesreč in njihovih posledic z udeležbo pešcev. Diplomska naloga zajema problematika pešcev na območju občine Maribor. Obdelana je analiza prometnih nesreč z udeleženimi pešci za obdobje 2005 — 2009. Poudarek je na prometnih nesrečah, v katerih so pešci umrli ali pa se hudo telesno poškodovali. Zajeti so naslednji podatki o posameznih prometnih nesrečah: datum prometen nesreče, ura prometne nesreče, vzrok prometne nesreče, ulica prometne nesreče, spol pešca, starost pešca, vsebnost alkohola pri pešcu. Na podlagi teh podatkov je izdelana analiza stanja prometne varnosti pešcev na območju občine Maribor ter podani so ukrepi za izboljšanje le-te.

Secondary abstract:	Pedestrians in traffic are the most vulnerable road users, and are also often involved in traffic accidents. The fact that people are increasingly aware of how important is to look after their health by walking on foot and, consequently, do something good for nature. Therefore I believe that the number of pedestrians involved in traffic will grow, so it is necessary to realize the problem of road accidents and their consequences involving pedestrians. The thesis is concentrated on safety and problems of pedestrian participation in traffic in the municipality of Maribor. The thesis includes analysis of traffic accidents involving pedestrians in this municipality from 2005 to 2009. The thesis concentrates on accidents which pedestrians died or suffered heavy injuries as a result of the accidents. Include the following information about each vehicle accidents: accident date, time of accident, cause of accident, street of accident, pedestrian sex, age pedestrian and alcohol containment. Based on these data has made analysis of the state traffic safety for pedestrians in the Municipality of Maribor and given the measures to improve it.
