Abstract

Secondary title: SEX BASED LABOR MARKET DISCRIMINATION
Secondary abstract: The fight against discrimination is a big challenge for the countries, whose fundamentals are based on the principles of freedom, democracy and respect for human rights. Therefore, all necessary measurements for the fight against all forms of discrimination must be included in their systems, especially when they effect employment and labor market. Despite all efforts, the problem of equal representation of both genders on the labor market still exists. The discrimination on the basis of gender in the labor market represents comprehensive law regulated field, referring mostly to the equal rights for employment, discrimination at the workplace, payment and education, gender segregation, promotion criteria, etc. The detection of the differences and their sanctioning is fundamental for the development of the society, as it assures equal rights to all and to large extend contributes to the full participation of citizens in economic, social and cultural aspects of their life.
