Abstract
Sonokemija je izraz za aplikacijo ultrazvočnih valov na kemijskih reakcijah. Ukvarja se z razumevanjem efekta zvočnih valov na kemijske sisteme, vendar za kemika zvok po vsej verjetnosti ne bi bil prva izbira oblike energije za stimulacijo kemijskih reakcij. Danes se veliko število znanstvenikov ukvarja s tem novim področjem raziskovanja.
Naša raziskava je temeljila na sintezi nanokristalov bakrovih selenidov s sonokemijsko metodo. Naš cilj je bil sintetizirati nanokristale s spreminjanjem množinskega razmerja med virom bakra in virom selena in s spreminjanjem vrste topila za vir bakra in selena. Cilj smo izpolnili, saj nam je uspelo sintetizirati različne faze nanokristalov s spreminjanjem prej opisanih parametrov.
Z rentgensko praškovno difrakcijo (XRD) smo kvalitativno analizirali vzorce, s pomočjo Scherrerjeve enačbe pa smo določili velikost sintetiziranih delcev.
V zadnjih letih je bilo namenjene veliko pozornosti sintezi in karakterizaciji polprevodnih selenidov, zaradi njihovih zanimivih lastnosti in potencialnih aplikacij. Med temi materiali so bakrovi selenidi pomembni polprevodniki s prevodnostjo tipa p, ki imajo potencialno aplikacijo v solarnih celicah in kot optični filtri, ker ponujajo visoko učinkovitost pretvorbe. Raziskovalci so sintetizirali tudi nanokristale bakrovih selenidov za aplikacijo v fototermalni terapiji.

Sonochemistry is a term for application of ultrasonic waves on chemical reactions. It deals with the understanding of the effect of sound waves on chemical systems. For a chemist, sound would probably not be the first choice of energy form for the stimulation of chemical reactions. Today, a great number of scientists are interested in this new field of research.
Our research was based on synthesis of copper selenides nanocrystals by sonochemical method. Our goal was to synthesize nanocrystals by changing the molarity ratio between copper and selenium source and by changing the type of solvent of copper and selenium source. We have accomplished our goal; we managed to synthesize different phases of nanoparticles by changing previously described parameters.
A qualitative analysis of the samples was carried out using the X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and with Scherrer equation the size of synthesized particles was determined.
In recent years, extensive attention has been paid to the preparation and characterization of semiconductor selenides due to their interesting properties and potential applications. Among these materials, copper selenides are very important semiconductors with p-type conductivity, which have potential applications in solar cells and as an optical filter. Researchers also synthesized copper selenides nanocrystals for application in photothermal therapy. |
