Abstract

Danes je pomembno, kakšne vrednote in cilje imamo, da lahko preživimo. V današnjem tempu življenja je pomembno, kako živimo in kako znamo dragoceni čas karseda najbolje izkoristiti. V sodobnem času nam elektronsko poslovanje bistveno pripomore k boljšemu in polnejšemu življenju. Elektronsko poslovanje nam lahko omogoča lažje poslovanje kar od doma ali od kjer koli se nahajamo, samo da imamo pri roki internet. Z vedno večjo stopnjo izobraženosti in napredka tehnologije pripisujemo elektronskemu poslovanju vedno večji pomen. V diplomskem delu smo opisali glavne značilnosti elektronskega poslovanja, v okviru tega pa smo se osredotočili na spletne strani, pri katerih sta oblikovna podoba in funkcionalnost bistveni značilnosti. V nadaljevanju diplomskega dela smo opisali spletno bančništvo in spletne portale. Za konec pa smo se osredotočili na spletne portale elektronskega bančništva na primeru bank Velike Britanije. Omenjene banke smo izbrali glede na velikost in pomembnost na Britanskem trgu, katere so: banka Lloyds TSB, banka HSBC, banka Royal Bank of Scotland in banka Barclays. Glede na današnje razmere v svetu se morajo banke dobro potruditi, da obdržijo ali na novo pridobijo svoje komitente. Pomagajo si z dobro predstavitvijo svojih spletnih strani in spletnih portalov ter bogato paleto spletnih storitev, ki jih ponujajo. Banke morajo biti karseda dinamične in fleksibilne, da sledijo trenutnim trendom in željam uporabnikov njihovih spletnih storitev. V interesu vseh udeležencev tako bank kot uporabnikov njihovih storitev pa je, da vsi dosežejo želene cilje, in da so navsezadnje s tem dosegom zadovoljni.

Secondary abstract: It is important today which values and goals people have in order to survive. It is important how we live on the basis of today’s life tempo and how we are able to make our valuable time most profitable. In modern times online business is of great help to our fulfilled and better life. It can make business easier from home or anyplace possible just as long we have the internet. We put greater importance on online business alongside with the higher level and progress of technology. We have mentioned main features of online business in diploma work in the frame of which we have concentrated on the web sites where their design and functionality are essential features. We have described online banking and web portals in the continuation of diploma work. In the conclusion we have focused on web portals of online banking based on the case of the Bank of Great Britain. We have chosen mentioned banks on the basis of their size and importance on the British economic market which are: Lloyds TSB bank, HSBC bank, Royal Bank of Scotland and Barclays bank. On the basis of current conditions around the world every bank has to make its best in order to keep or to invite new customers. They help themselves with good web sites, portals and, of course, with a rich pallet of web services they offer. Banks have to be as dynamic and flexible as possible, to follow current customers’ trends and wishes on their web services. In the interest of all participants, from banks to users of bank web services is that all of them gain their desired goals and that after all they are satisfied with their achievement.
