Abstract

V raziskavo smo vključili 9 dečkov in 10 deklic, starih 5,3-0,2 leti. Meritve smo izvajali v svetlem, velikem in mirnem prostoru. Šest otrok je imelo dominantno nogo levo. Stojo oporno so merjenci izvajali v štirih različnih položajih, in sicer snožno, razkoračno, merno in predkoračno razkoračno.

Secondary title: Distribution of force on the child's foot in different positions of quiet stance
Secondary abstract: The aim of our study was to determine how the absence of visual input affects keeping balance in quiet stance. We included 9 boys and 10 girls in the age range 5,3-0,2 into the study. The measurements took place in a bright, spacious and quiet room. Six of the children had left foot as their dominant foot. Subjects conducted quiet stance in four different positions: feet together, feet apart, tandem and step. In positions feet together, feet apart and step we added two distinct conditions (eyes open, eyes closed). Because of the difficulty of position the task was performed only with eyes open in position tandem. For measurements of variables such as travelled distance of centre of pressure and forces on every foot separately we used Parotec measuring device. We found big differences between quiet stance performed with eyes open or eyes closed. The results of our study show that children at the age five load more their non-dominant foot. We came to the conclusion that the size of base of support is the most important parameter in keeping child's stability.
