Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo predstavili načrtovanje spletnega učnega mesta za gluhe in naglušne, ki smo ga razvili na Fakulteti za elektrotehniko, računalništvo in informatiko v Mariboru v okviru projekta DEAFVOC 2. Problem, ki se pojavlja, je namreč pomanjkanje e-gradiv, prilagojenih gluhim in naglušnim. Uporabnost sistema smo ocenjevali s pomočjo vprašalnika SUS, pedagoško bogatost sistema pa s prilagojenim pedagoškim indeksom učinkovitosti. Na osnovi dveh ocenjevanj se je izkazalo, da so mlajši uporabniki, ki so internet uporabljali pogosteje, uporabnost sistema ocenili bolje od starejših, manj rednih uporabnikov interneta. Ugotovili smo tudi, da se z večmodalnim pristopom izboljšuje pedagoška bogatost sistema. Na koncu smo analizirali predstavitev spletnega učnega mesta za gluhe in naglušne javnosti na novinarski konferenci, ki se je izkazala za učinkovito medijsko komunikacijsko orodje.

Secondary title: Design and evaluation of e-learning portal for deaf and hard of hearing
Secondary abstract: Presented in this diploma, as part of the DEAFVOC 2 project, is a plan for e-Learning portal for deaf and hard of hearing, which is developed at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Maribor. The reoccurring problem is a lack of e-material that is adapted for deaf and hard of hearing people. The usability of system is evaluated with the help of SUS questionnaire and the pedagogic richness of the system with the adjusted Pedagogical Effectiveness Index. On the basis of two evaluations, it is shown that the younger users, who use internet more frequently, evaluate the system better than the older, less frequent internet users. It is also concluded that with a multi-modal access, the pedagogic richness of the system improves. At the end, the public presentation of e-Learning portal for deaf and hard of hearing at the press conference is analyzed, which proves to be an effective media and communication tool.
