Uvajanje novejših različic SAP rešitve na primeru modula financ v podjetju Gorenje

Abstract

V magistrski nalogi smo predstavili vpeljavo nadgradnje informacijskega sistema v veliko slovensko podjetje, kot je Gorenje d.d.. Prikazali smo tudi na kakšen način obvladujejo podatke na področju financ v finančno – računovodskem modulu v informacijskem sistemu SAP R/3. Na uspešno delovanje takšnega informacijskega sistema vpliva odlično poznavanje poslovnih procesov podjetja, dobro poznavanje dela s sistemom ter pripravljenost na sprejem novosti. Podjetja se odločajo za uvedbo novega informacijskega sistema, ko jim uporabljen informacijski sistem ne zadošča več za pokrivanje želenih procesov. Za nadgradnjo pa se odločajo zato, ker se povečujejo stroški vzdrževanja starih verzij in, ker želijo nadgraditi uporabljene poslovne procese z novejšo tehnologijo. Stara verzija, ki je bila integrirana v sistem SAP je predstavljala veliko problemov pri hitrosti izvajanja posameznih transakcij, ni omogočala nadgradnje vseh jezikov ter ni dopuščala izvedbo nadgradnje Business Werehouse modula. Nova verzija pa je prinesla večjo kontrolo nad vnesenimi podatki, kar posledično pomeni tudi natančnejše izhodne podatke. Omogoča zmanjšanje obsega papirnatega poslovanja in pospešitev hitrosti transakcij. Prinaša tudi večjo kontrolo nad vnesenimi podatki, kar posledično pomeni natančnejše izhodne podatke. Z novo verzijo dosežemo tudi boljšo povezljivost posameznih SAP modulov med sabo. V Gorenju so se zato leta 2011 odločili nadgraditi sistem SAP z nov,o izboljšano, verzijo SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 5, ki je vsebinsko in z vidika uporabniškega vmesnika dosti bolj izpolnjena. Za prehod je bilo potrebno zamenjati strojno opremo, na katero je bila nameščena nova verzija. Ker pa podjetje zaradi novejše programske opreme ne sme zastati, je bilo potrebno izdelati scenarije in teste za mehak prehod.

Secondary abstract:	This master thesis presents the implementation of an information system upgrade in a large company such as the Slovenian company Gorenje d.d. is. The thesis also shows how the information management works in the financial accounting module within the information system SAP R/3. The successful operation of such information system depends on good understanding of the company's work processes, good command of the system and willingness to welcome innovations. Companies decide to implement new information systems when the system in use no longer supports all the necessary processes. They decide to upgrade the system because the maintenance cost of older versions rises and because they want to introduce new technology into the business processes that are already in use. The old version, integrated into the SAP system, generated many problems related to the speed of individual transactions, it did not support the upgrade in all languages and it also did not allow the upgrade of Business Warehouse module. The new version provides better control of incoming information, which logically results in more accurate outgoing information. It reduces the paperwork and accelerates the transactions. What is more, with this new version better communication among individual SAP modules is achieved. It was in 2011 that Gorenje d.d. decided to upgrade the SAP system with the new version of SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 5, which had been improved in many ways, from the program itself to the user interface operation. To carry out the transition the substitution of hardware was necessary, and it was replaced by a new one that had the new version of SAP installed. Since the company could not afford stagnation during the process of changing the software, plans and tests for a smooth transition were elaborated.
