Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo predstavili lastnosti in karakteristike polimernih materialov in ogljikovih vlaken ter predstavil tehnologije ojačevanja PVC okenskih okvirjev. V eksperimentalnem delu smo opravil upogibne preizkuse na vzorcih, izrezanih iz PVC okenskega okvirja in ojačanih z ogljikovimi vlakni. Primerjalno smo opravili upogibne preizkuse na vzorcih z ekvivalentno standardno jekleno ojačitvijo. Rezultati preizkusov so pokazali, da z ogljikovimi vlakni ojačani vzorci prenesejo bistveno večjo upogibno obremenitev, kot z jekleno pločevino ojačani vzorci. Pri ekonomski raziskavi smo s pomočjo vrednostne analize preverili variante ojačitev glede na stroške in pripadajoče upogibne trdnosti. Za najbolj optimalno se je izkazala ojačitev z ogljikovimi vlakni.

Secondary title: Possibility of polymer materials strengthening using continuous carbon fibres
Secondary abstract: In the thesis we presented the properties and characteristics of polymer materials and carbon fibres, also was presented the technology for reinforcement of PVC window frames. In the experimental part, we carried out bending tests on samples cut out from PVC window frames and reinforced with carbon fibres. Comparing, we carried out bending tests on samples with equal standard steel reinforcement. The results of the experiments have shown, that the samples reinforced with carbon fibres can handle a greater bending load than the samples reinforced with steel sheet metal. When conducting the economic research, with the help of the value analysis, we checked the variants for reinforcement based on costs of the realization and the bending stregth. The best one was the reinforcement with carbon fibres.
