Razvoj aplikacije za sledenje poti na mobilni platformi Android

Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo opisali stanje na trgu pametnih telefonov in njihovih operacijskih sistemov. Med operacijskimi sistemi smo podrobneje predstavili Android mobilno platformo, na kateri smo kreirali aplikacijo. Podrobneje smo predstavili razvojno okolje Eclipse in pametni telefon Motorola Milestone, ki smo ju uporabljali pri kreiranju aplikacije za sledenje poti na mobilni platformi Android preko GPS vmesnika. Implementirali smo aplikacijo, ki omogoča prikaz zemljevida z označitvijo opravljene poti uporabnika, hitrost, maksimalno hitrost, čas opravljanja poti, razdaljo poti, nadmorsko višino in maksimalno in minimalno nadmorsko višino. Po predstavitvi nastajanja aplikacije, smo v zadnjem poglavju opisali testiranje implementirane aplikacije na emulatorju in mobilni napravi Motorola Milestone. Pravilnost delovanja aplikacije smo preverili s primerjavo delovanja navigacijske naprave in ure Garmin.

Secondary abstract:	In this diploma work, we have described the situation on the market of smart phones and their operating systems. We decided to use the Andoid mobile platform, which we presented more detailed and for which we also developed an application. We continued with the description of the Eclipse development environment and Motorola Milestone smart phone, which were used for creating the application for GPS route tracking. We have implemented an application, which shows a map with route indications, current and maximum speed, time of journey, route length, current, maximum and minimum altitude. After the presentation of application development, we concluded with the testing results on the emulator and on the Motorola Milestonesmartphone. We have also verified the accuracy of application by comparing it's functionality with Garmin Nuvi portable navigation device and Garmin GPS watch.
