diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študijskega programa
Abstract

Automatic conversion from BPMN models into BPEL execution language |
Secondary abstract: |
Nowadays, fast and flexible response to changes in the business world is a key feature by which companies remain competitive in the market. Thesis as a partial solution to this problem represents the process of transformation of business process models into executable code using algorithms and computer software. To this end, the first part presents two standards, between which the transformation will be taking place. The first one, the so-called BPMN notation is meant to model business processes, its target shape is the BPEL language in which the processes are executed. Next follows presentation of different approaches for the conversion, based on the mathematical theory, which was developed for this purpose. Although many models can be easily converted into fulfilling its algorithm, some structures require deeper analysis and knowledge of conversion procedures, which are also presented. Second section includes a description and usage of IBM software, which is meant for this task. Case of conversion of the actual cases of business process is followed by an overview of the possibility of an iterative development in process life cycle. |
