Secondary title: | Parametric analysis of flow through aortic valve |
Secondary abstract: | Using the Computational Fluid Dynamics, we parametrically analysed flow through aortic valve. We focused on comparison of aortic valves with different levels of regurgitation. We wanted to show dependence between the level of aortic valve disease and consequences in human organism functioning. Numerical model considered blood as Non-Newtonian fluid with a Power Law and assumed inelastic geometry. Results show that aortic valve operating in organism is very important and regurgitation significantly changes flow conditions at heart functioning. |
