Abstract

Proizvajalci tračnih žag, za vodenje listov žag uporabljajo vodila, ki so narejena iz različni materialov. V podjetju Elprof, d.o.o. Polzela, ki ta vodila proizvaja, pa želijo ugotoviti vodila iz katerega materiala so najboljša za ta namen. Končni uporabniki namreč po izrabi originalnih zaradi nizke cene najraje vgradijo lesene, ki pa nimajo primernih drsnih lastnosti. Za potrebe te raziskave se je opravil kontroliran preizkus in preračun nastalih stroškov, ki so pokazali, da je dejansko najbolj smotrno vgrajevati vodila grafita.

Secondary title: Analysis of replacing the wooden band saw guides
Secondary abstract: Band saw manufacturers use guides from different materials to guide the band saw leaf. Company Elprof, d.o.o. Polzela which manufacturers these guides would like to prove which guides from which material are the most suitable to use in this application. When the originally installed guides wear out end users like to install wooden band saw guides which are cheaper but do not have adequate sliding properties. For the purpose of this thesis a controlled experiment was performed as well as a calculation of all relevant and associated costs, which showed that the most appropriate material to use is graphite.
