Plinovodno omrežje v Sloveniji

Abstract

Današnjega sveta si ne moremo več predstavljati brez plinovodov. Te zelo pomembne energetske avtoceste oskrbujejo z energijo velik del današnje družbe. Po njih se transportira zemeljski plin, ki se uporablja v industriji, javnih zavodih in zasebnih bivališčih. Plinovodi nam prinašajo energijo s katero si zagotavljamo toploto, elektriko in energijo za proizvodnjo v industriji. V diplomski nalogi bomo predstavili zgodovino plinovodov, njihovo načrtovanje, izgradnjo, upravljanje in vzdrževanje. Predstavili bomo tudi prenosno plinovodno omrežje v Sloveniji, ki ga upravlja družba Geoplin plinovodi d. o. o. Prav tako bomo predstavili načrte za prihodnost plinovodov v Sloveniji in po svetu. Trenutno se v medijih pogosto govori in pišejo zelo pomembnih projektih, kot sta Južni tok in Nabucco; slednja sta na kratko predstavljena tudi v tem diplomskem delu. Za konec smo podali nekaj rešitev, ki bi lahko pripomogle k boljši oskrbi Slovenije z zemeljskim plinom.

Secondary abstract:	It would be difficult to imagine the modern world without pipelines. These vital »energy motorways« provide energy for a vast portion of modern society. They are used to transport natural gas for industrial purposes, public institutes and private dwellings. Gas pipelines supply the energy required for generating heat, electrical power and energy for the industry and production sector. This diploma thesis shall introduce the history of pipelines, their design, construction, management and maintenance. Additionally, the thesis shall introduce the long-distance gas distribution network in Slovenia managed by the company Geoplin plinovodi d.o.o. This shall be followed by outlining future plans regarding gas pipelines in Slovenia and throughout the world. Currently, the media are filled with reports about two very important gas distribution projects, namely the South Stream and Nabucco. Both of these projects are introduced in this paper. Finally, the conclusion of the thesis attempts to provide some solutions regarding different methods that would facilitate the distribution of natural gas within Slovenia.
