Abstract
Magistrsko delo podaja pregled mehanskih, elektronskih in komunikacijskih modulov, ki se uporabljajo pri gradnji majhnih telekomunikacijskih satelitov. Najprej je predstavljena razdelitev satelitov glede na njihovo velikost in filozofijo gradnje majhnih satelitov s pomočjo komercialne tehnologije. Vsakemu modulu je namenjeno svoje poglavje. Le-ta si sledijo, kot struktura satelita, napajalni modul, mikroračunalnik, komunikacijski modul, modul za uravnavanje in nadzor položaja satelita v orbiti, modula za kontrolo temperature in sevanja satelita ter koristni tovor satelita. V zadnjem poglavju je predstavljen praktičen primer izdelave modulov prototipa majhnega telekomunikacijskega satelita. Posebej je predstavljen problem sevanja v LEO orbiti in izbira ustreznega varovalnega plašča, ki zaustavlja ionizirajoče sevanje. Izbira ustreznega aluminijastega plašča oziroma ohišja določa tudi čas, kako dolgo bo satelit zanesljivo deloval v okolju ionozirajočega sevanja.

This Master thesis describes different alternatives of mechanical, electronics and telecommunications systems which can be used in building small telecommunication satellites. First parts are concentrated on the size of the satellites and philosophy of building small satellites with COTS commercial of the shelf technologies. Each system is represents as individual chapter, like structure of satellite, electrical power system, microcomputer, communication system, attitude determination and control system, radiation and thermal control system and payload. In the last chapter we discussed about practical realization of prototype systems of small telecommunications satellite. |
