Secondary abstract:	The diploma paper contents topics connected to explosives and its use for construction purposes. The reading matter presents information about types of explosives and their properties. Procedures of mining in quarries, in tunnel construction and works demolition, thus procedures which are closely connected to construction are described in detail. Within mining knowledge about statics and dynamics of the construction, as well as knowledge about physical and chemical characteristics of several materials is of great importance. Only in this case, we can study each construction work before mining, and thus prevent any accidents and damages on the surrounding buildings
