Abstract
V diplomskem delu so zajeta spoznanja o pomenu zagotavljanja kakovosti in ugotavljanja kazalcev kakovosti v vrtcu. Teoretični del diplomskega dela zajema opredelitve pojma kakovosti v vrtcu. Slednjega ne gre ugotavljati brez poznavanja kazalcev kakovosti v vrtcu, ki so podrobneje opisani v poglavju o ravneh kakovosti v vrtcu. Opredelili smo strukturno, procesno in posredno raven kakovosti v vrtcu in njihove kazalce. Pregledali smo strokovno literaturo in zakonodajo na področju vzgoje in izobraževanja, ki se prav tako na več mestih dotika kazalcev kakovosti v vrtcu. Empirični del diplomskega dela zajema analizo strukturnih kazalcev kakovosti, podatki so prikazani v preglednicah. Pridobili smo jih iz raziskave, ki smo jo izvedli v vrtcih po Sloveniji. Naš namen je raziskati strukturne kazalce kakovosti, ki se v vrtcih pojavljajo, prav zaradi možnosti objektivnega merjenja, česar pri ostalih kazalcih na posredni in procesni ravni ni mogoče zagotoviti. Preverjali smo obstoj razlik glede na okolje, v katerem se vrtec nahaja in glede na velikost vrtca po številu otrok. Večjih razlik v obeh primerih nismo zaznali. Končne ugotovitve so podane v sklepnih mislih, v katerih na splošno zaključujemo s pozitivnim mnenjem o kakovosti na strukturni ravni v slovenskih vrtcih.

Secondary abstract: |
This graduation thesis encompasses findings about the importance of providing and establishing indicators of quality in early childhood education. The theoretical part of the graduation thesis includes definitions of the concept of quality in early childhood education. The last cannot be established without knowing indicators of quality in early childhood education. These are, in greater detail, described in the chapter about the levels of quality in early childhood education. We defined the structural, procedural and indirect levels of quality in early childhood education and their indicators. We also revised expert literature and legislation for the field of education and schooling which, in several places, converges with indicators of quality in early childhood education. The empirical part of the graduation thesis includes the analysis of the structural indicators of quality. The data was gathered with a research which was done in Slovenian kindergartens. The data was then presented in tables. Our purpose was to investigate structural indicators of quality that appear in kindergartens. This was done due to the possibility of objective surveying, which otherwise cannot be assured with other indicators on the indirect and procedural level. According to the kindergarten's environment and size, giving the number of children, we tested the existence of differences. In both cases, we did not detect any major differences. The final findings are given in the form of concluding thoughts. We generally conclude with a positive opinion about the quality on the structural level in Slovenian early childhood education. |
