Secondary abstract: | Disciplinary responsibility is one of the accountability forms which are characteristic of labor relations. It is the responsibility of the person who is employed in a disciplinary violation or violations of professional duties. Disciplinary liability in employment law is known as most important and most common. From the perspective of the employer is the purpose of this institution to ensure order and discipline in the workplace. In terms of the worker this institution represents the right to protection against arbitrary disciplinary action of the employer. Even police officers who belong to the category of public officials must respect their obligation to work. Legal regulation of the disciplinary responsibility of police officers has undergone many changes in the time from the independence of Slovenia and to this day. The most important task of a police officer is to protect human lives and ensuring safety. Therefore it is important for police officer to be responsible in the case of violations at workplace. Their work must be conscientious and professional. Appropriate order of disciplinary responsibility is very important because the profession of a police officer is under greater social control and exposed to public |
