Abstract

V diplomskem seminarju obravnavamo optične lastnosti materialov, ki postanejo optično aktivni v zunanjem magnetnem polju. Osredotočimo se na nanokompozitni material, sestavljen iz optično aktivnega gostitelja in optično aktivne primesi. Izračunamo efektivni tenzor dielektričnosti za tak material in nato še Verdetovo konstanto.
