Povzetek
V diplomski nalogi smo želeli poudariti pomen pridobivanja in selekcije kadrov ter seznaniti bralca s široko paleto različnih metod in tehnik izbire novih sodelavcev.
Teoretičen del diplomske naloge je razdeljen v tri poglavja. V prvem poglavju smo opredelili problem, namen, cilje, trditve, predpostavke, omejitve diplomske naloge ter metode dela, ki smo jih uporabili. V drugem poglavju smo predstavili tri temeljne aktivnosti, povezane z zagotavljanjem ustreznih kadrov: analiza dela, pridobivanje in selekcija kadrov. Osrednje, tretje poglavje, je osredotočeno na opis različnih metod selekcije. Predstavili smo tako konvencionalne kot nekonvencionalne metode ter navedli prednosti in slabosti vsake izmed obravnavanih metod. Teoretični del smo zaključili s pregledom metod selekcije, ki jih uporabljajo organizacije v Sloveniji in nekaterih drugih državah članicah Evropske unije.
V praktičnem delu diplomske naloge (poglavje štiri in pet) smo opisali podjetje Unior d. d. Navedli smo osnovne informacije podjetja, njihovo dejavnost, poslanstvo, vizijo in cilje ter predstavili organizacijsko strukturo podjetja. Peto poglavje je posvečeno procesu pridobivanja in selekcije v izbranem podjetju. Osredotočeni smo bili na metode in tehnike, ki jih organizacija uporablja pri izbiri novih sodelavcev, prav tako pa smo, na podlagi proučene literature, podali nekaj predlogov za izboljšavo, ki jih lahko podjetje aplicira v prakso.
Pridobivanje in selekcija kadrov je časovno zahteven postopek, ki zahteva veliko dragocenega časa in sredstev. Nanj se je potrebno dobro pripraviti in mu nameniti ustrezno pozornost, če želimo, da se nam bo obrestovalo. Samo »pravi ljudje, na pravih mestih, ob pravem času«, lahko prispevajo k uspehu organizacije, zato mora organizacija izbrati kreativne in visoko motivirane delavce, z dobrimi osebnimi lastnostmi, ki se bodo dobro ujeli z delovnim mestom, timom in organizacijo. Napačne odločitve vodijo do različnih težav, za majhne organizacija pa so takšne napake lahko celo usodne. Boljše strategije pridobivanja in selekcije kadrov, vodijo do boljših poslovnih rezultatov. Bolj uspešne kot so organizacije pri pridobivanju in selekciji kandidatov, večja je verjetnost, da zaposlijo in zadržijo zadovoljne kadre. Uspešnost selekcijskega sistema vpliva na produktivnost in finančni uspeh organizacije, zato se organizaciji investicija v razvoj obširnega in veljavnega sistema selekcije močno obrestuje.

In our diploma work we wanted to stress the importance of recruitment and selection of new employees and aquaint the reader with wide spectrum of different personnel selection methods and techniques.
Theoretical part is divided in three chapters. In the first chapter we defined the problem, indicated diploma work's intention, goals affirmation, assumptions, limitations and methods of work. In the second chapter we provided a broad overview of the three main activities related to provision of personnel: job analysis, recruitment and selection. The main, third chapter of our diploma work provides and overview of different personnel selection methods and techniques. We named and described conventional as well as unconvecional methods and examined the strenghts and weaknesses of these methods. We conlcuded the theoretical part with an overview of the personnel selection methods used by companies in Slovenia and by companies in some other EU countries.
The practical part (chapters four and five) describes the Unior d.d. In the fourth chapter we brought forward basic information of the comapny, its work, mission, visions, goals and organizational structure. The fifth chapter is dedicated to the recruitment and selection process used in Unior d.d. We examined and provided an overview of the personnel recruitment and selection methods and techniques used by the selected company and also, on the basis of examined literature, gave some suggestions for improvement.
Recruitment and selection is a time consumning procedure, which demands a lot of valuable time and resources. Organizations have to be well prepared and devote adequate attention to the process if they want to bear interest. Only the right people at the right time in the right place can contribute to the efficiency of the company, so a company has to select creative and highly motivated workers, with good personal atributes, who will fit well with the job as well as the team and the organization. Wrong decision leads to different problems, and for the small company such errors can be faithful. Better recruitment and selection strategies result in improved organizational outcomes. The more effectively organizations recruit and select candidates, the more likely they are to hire and retain satasfied employees. The effectiveness of an organization's selection system can influence bottom-line business outcomes, such as productivity and financial performance. Hence, investing in the development of a comprehensive and valid selection system is money well spent. |
